Site Survey
A site survey is undertaken to identify the optimum route for the cable from the source to a location that is agreeable to all parties including stakeholders, property owners and local authorities. The site survey captures the proposed routing details, from where the line will go overhead to where it will be put underground, to routings and risers within buildings. The survey also identifies what permissions will be required along the route. The site survey breaks down into three main areas:
- Mapping Overview with red line and scope of works
- Red line site pictures with notes
- Proposal for how drops from ODP will be completed
