Virgin Media: Resourcing

Entegro has a long-term relationship with Virgin Media having completed several initiatives for them, both for new network expansion and network upgrades, as well as provision of project resources. 

Overview:

Virgin Media required project support on day-to-day build and operations activities on an ongoing business.

Challenge:

To provide skilled engineering staff to work on ongoing projects.

Solution:

Entegro provides ‘in-house’ staffing for various roles within the client’s office. Roles supported include:

• Build and Civil inspectors to ensure that the 3rd-party construction crew are performing ductwork construction or street furniture installation in accordance to the clients’ detailed specification. Quality exceptions are reported to the civil partner and the client for rectification.
• Quality Assurance Roles. When a customer has been connected, a post-installation quality audit is performed to ensure that the installer has completed the customer’s connection in accordance to the client’s standards. Technical tests are performed to ensure the installation is operating to the appropriate specifications.
